Instructions for Use
Sorting 3D Shapes allows students to sort 3-dimensional object according to different attributes.
Sort the three-dimensional objects shown using different attributes. Click on all the shapes that fit that attribute and drag them into the box. Guide students through this activity. An interactive whiteboard may be used to complete this activity. Tell students the attribute and have them come up and click on the shapes that fit that attribute.
What Shape Am I? is a Flash animation that has students identify 3-D objects from a description of its attributes. You will need Adobe Flash Player plug-in for your browser to view the file; you may already have it installed.
Guide students through this presentation as there is a lot of reading involved. Click through each screen and have students provide their answers from the descriptions.
