Use these interactive activities to encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about 3-D objects. Students can try these activities on their own or in pairs.


Goals


Determine the differences between two given pre-sorted sets, and explain the sorting rule.
Identify common attributes of 3-D objects from given sets of the same shape.

Instructions for Use


Sorting 3-D Shapes allows students to sort three-dimensional objects according to different attributes.
Sort the three-dimensional objects shown using different attributes. Click on all the shapes that fit that attribute and drag them into the box. Guide students through this activity. An interactive whiteboard may be used to complete this activity. Tell students the attribute and have them come up and click on the shapes that fit that attribute.
