Use these interactive activities to encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about numbers up to 100. Students can try these activities on their own or in pairs.

Represent a given amount of money with pennies, nickels, dimes, and a quarter.

Instructions for Use
Piggy Bank provides students with practice counting coins.
Select a level of difficulty, Easy or Hard. Click on the coins that add up to the amount of money on the screen. As the coins fall from the top of the screen, click on the coins that add up to the total on the right. When they add up, the coins will release and a new amount appears. If too many coins stack up, the game is over. When the bank is full, you win.
Converting Coins provides students with practice converting between coins with the same value.
To use Converting Coins, scroll down to the Practice section. Click Start and answer the question posed. Enter the answer in the space provided and click Check. If the answer is correct, a new question appears. If the answer is incorrect, the correct answer is shown.
Scroll down to the Play section and select one of the three games listed.
