Lesson 1: Completing a 100 Chart

Use these interactive activities to encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about numbers up to 100. Students can try these activities on their own or in pairs.

Goal

Use number patterns to identify errors and missing numbers in a 100 chart.

Instructions for Use

Count Along to 100 allows students to count from 1 to 100 on a 100 chart and enter missing numbers.

To use Count Along to 100, click on the carrot and follow along as the numbers are counted. When you get to a blank square, enter the missing number and press Enter. Continue until the 100 chart is completed. You may click on Start Over to see a new chart with different missing numbers.

Mend the Number Square lets students describe numbers to 100.
To use Mend the Number Square, drag and drop the missing number on the character to fill in the 100 chart. Click the “Play again” link to fill in different numbers on the chart.
