Use these interactive activities to encourage students to have fun on the Web while learning about strategies for addition and subtraction. Students can try these activities on their own or in pairs.

Instructions for Use

Add 3 Numbers gives students practice adding three numbers.

To use Add 3 Numbers, select from three activities.

Select “Countdown” to see how many correct answers you can get in 60 seconds, “Give Me Time” for extra time to answer the questions, or “20 Questions” to see how fast you can 20 or more correct answers than wrong.

Click on “Start Addition”. Enter the correct answer in the space provided and click “Check”. If your answer is correct a new expression is shown. If you answer is correct, the correct answer is given and a new expression is shown. Your score is shown at the bottom of the screen.


Adding Three Numbers is a multiple choice quiz on adding three numbers.

To Use Adding Three Numbers, select the correct answer from a list of numbers. Select "Submit Your Answer!" to move to the next question.
