[C, PS]

Instructions for Use

Pattern Blocks has students use pattern blocks to create different patterns.

To use Pattern Blocks, select Pattern Blocks from the list of activities. Click on two different shapes at the left of the screen and create a pattern by placing the shapes side by side. A shape can be rotated by clicking on a corner and moving around the dot that appears. Change the colour of a shape by selecting a colour along the bottom of the screen. To clear the shapes, click “Clear” at the bottom of the screen.

Crazy Pattern Game prompts students to fill in attributes in repeating shape patterns.

To use Crazy Pattern Game, click on the level of difficulty, and then click on the random choices of shapes, colours, numbers, upper case, or lower case letters. Fill in the missing piece from each patterned sequence.
