Instructions for Use Sum Sense allows students to arrange three or four digits to create an addition sentence. Once they have created an addition sentence, ask students to create a related subtraction sentence. Click “Start”. You will be shown some numbers and will need to arrange the numbers to create an addition sentence. Click the “Next” button to get a new set of digits to arrange.
Flower Power allows students to solve related addition and subtraction sentences. Students will be shown a fact family of doubles. Students will complete both the addition sentence and the subtraction sentence. If the student gets the correct answer, they will earn a petal on their flower.
