About the Product

With over 2,000 multiple choice questions, the Paramedic Exam Review is a must-have tool for students preparing for State or National certification exams. Newly revised, the third edition reflects the requirements of the paramedic level in the National EMS Educational Standards and the American Heart Association Guidelines for ECC and CPR. • Scenario-based questions provide more complex patient presentations to encourage students to practice critical-thinking skills.

  • Answers to each of the questions are provided in the back of the book, and are accompanied by comprehensive rationale to offer students remediation .

  • Tips on test preparation ensure that students know what to expect to be evaluated on and can confidently study for the exam.

  • Skills sheets offer practice on the skills-based portion of the exam and help students prepare for success on the exam and beyond.

  • A comprehensive Glossary provides a reference for students to sharpen their knowledge of EMS terms.
