Nelson Chemistry Alberta 20-30 Student Book BINGOWhy play BINGO? Explicit instruction in the use of textual resources is encouraged to support students in improving their reading comprehension. Understanding textual organization, cues and text structures help all students (both strong and struggling readers) to improve their understanding. Teachers can accomplish this task in a fun and interactive way by using the following instructional strategy. What's involved? The Nelson Chemistry Alberta 20-30 BINGO form consists of questions that require students to search through their student resource to obtain the answers and fill in the form. Students may work cooperatively in pairs or individually to complete this information scavenger hunt. A small prize incentive may be offered to the team that completes it first with all the correct answers. Upon completion, answers may be reviewed and further discussion may occur to highlight features that you feel are particularly important. Your Guide to this Textbook at the front of the resource may be identified to students as a possible source for some of their answers. An answer key is provided along with the student template. Below are the BINGO Chemistry template and answers.
